QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
What is the capacity of the Oaks Club?
The Oaks Club can hold 375 people comfortably. This includes a nice dance floor in front of the stage. Some halls quote higher numbers with less space. We want to assure comfort for your guests.
How much is the rental fee?
The fee for a reception in:
2024 — PACKAGE DEAL FOR $1,400
Outdoor Wedding and Reception rental fee. $2,000 in 2024.
What’s included in the rent?
The package deal includes rental of the hall, linen table clothes and napkins on all tables, china at each place setting, heated plates, bartenders and cleanup.
Is there a deposit?
When the contract is signed, a Five Hundred dollar ($500) deposit is required. The deposit is non-refundable. Deposit and contract must be returned within 14 days or the contract will be void.
What are my cleanup responsibilities?
The Oaks Club is responsible for the cleanup. All we ask is that anything that belongs to you must be taken with you after the event is over.
What kind of decorating can we do to the Banquet room?
We do allow decorations in the Banquet room; however, the ceiling is off limits. The walls have permanent hooks for you to use. Masking tape must be used (NO DUCT TAPE) if signs or posters are to be hung. No glitter, confetti, stars or sprinkles of any kind. When these items end up on the floor they can only be removed with a new wax application. Wax applications cost $600. This amount will be passed onto the renting party.
The hall is a non-smoking facility.
Based on Ohio law, the room is non-smoking.
How are the refreshments handled?
All refreshments must be bought from The Oaks Club. We have several package deals that can be discussed based on your desired request:
- Quote on your personal options.
- Open bar/wine/draft beer @$13.25 per reservation.
- Open bar/wine/can beer @$14.25 per reservation.
How long do I get the hall for?
The contract states that you are renting the hall from 7 A.M. until midnight. Other arrangements can be made. The management of The Oaks Club tries to make arrangements for wedding receptions to decorate on Friday afternoons. This arrangement is possible only if The Oaks Club is open on the Friday date.
How are the tables arranged?
Depending on the size of your event, The Oaks Club will arrange the tables in various ways. We can incorporate double wide tables in the equation. Using the double wide tables requires a party with less than 290 people.
Who does the catering?
The Spot catering service has total catering privileges at The Oaks Club. This is the best way for management of the Club to assure that proper service will be given at your event.

Gratuity and Tax
Sales tax will be charged for your event. 7.25% is the current rate. Gratuity also will be added at a rate of 10% to the entire invoice.
